Full-time care staff required for family-owned Birchwood Care Services in Tunbridge Wells. We offer competitive rates of pay in the local area as well as a sign on bonus.

Birchwood Care Services is part of Birchwood Care Group and works closely with Birchwood House, the care home based in a beautiful manor house in Speldhurst. 

We’re looking for a kind and compassionate individual to join our friendly and professional care team. We’re a well-established provider and we’re looking for experienced staff, preferably with a level 2 in Health and Social Care. Transport and a full driving licence will be essential as the role is caring in the community. Rest assured; you will receive a mileage allowance in addition to your salary. 

We’re seeking someone who lives in or near Tunbridge Wells as our early shift can commence from 7 am.  

Our clients, who are mostly elderly, live in and around the Tunbridge Wells area, and we assist with most aspects of daily living including: 

• Help with personal care and dressing 
• Preparing meals and drinks 
• Help with medication 
• Providing social companionship and being that regular reliable person our clients look forward to seeing 

We’re seeking a genuinely friendly caring and compassionate individual. Our clients are relying on your visits so it’s important to be reliable and want to make a genuine difference to the lives of others. After all, caring is a vocation and not a job. 

The role will require working alternate weekends and a minimum of two tea/late shifts weekly. When working a weekend, you will have 2 rest days during the week. 

We can be flexible around shifts/days and we’re happy to discuss this during the interview stage.
